To get started, press [INPUT] to access the Input Setting menu. Select "BUILT-IN". Display should read like this:
INPUT SETTING:
Mic In BUILT-IN
Then:
- Press the [INPUT] button.
- The INPUT SETTING screen appears. - Use the [VALUE] dial to select “Mic In.”
- Press the [VALUE] dial.
- Use the [VALUE] dial to select “BUILT-IN.”
- Press the MIC [ON] button to make it light.
Next, enable SAMPLING by holding [SHIFT]+[REC]
After you're done Sampling, use the [VALUE] dial to select “EXPORT SAMPLE,” then press the [VALUE] dial to export the sample to the SD card in WAV format.
EXPORT SAMPLE
Select the destination of where you want to put the Sample.
- By holding down the [SHIFT] button and press pad [1-16] while the pads are in Section Select mode, you can access the clip settings screen.
- Press the [SEQ] button to set the workflow to “Sequencer.”
- Press the [SECTION SELECT] button to switch the pads to Section Select mode.
- Press the [INST 1] or [INST 2] button to select a looper track.
- Press an unlit pad (empty clip) from [1] to [16] to select the clip where you want to load the sample into.
- Press the [VALUE] dial.
- Use the [VALUE] dial to select “WAVE FILE,” then press the [VALUE] dial.
- The BROWSER screen appears.
- BROWSER: WAVE FILE
WAVE BROWSER:
F: EXPORT
- [VALUE] dial (ENTER)
Select the EXPORTED FILE
- [VALUE] dial (ENTER)
Now the Recoded Sample will be on the pad!
