The SP-404MK2 does not have a built-in microphone. You can use dynamic microphones with the external INPUT jack.
Note: Condenser microphones cannot be used directly, as the SP-404MK2 does not supply phantom power or plug-in power through the MIC IN jack. To use a condenser microphone, connect it through an external mic preamp or audio interface that provides the required power.
