Yes. The SP-404MK2 supports USB connectivity with iOS devices, enabling the following.
- Sample audio playing back on the iOS device
- Stream or record your performance using an iOS app
- Transmit and receive MIDI and audio using a music production app
Note: We cannot guarantee the functionality of all apps. Android devices are not guaranteed to work with this unit.
How to connect
For iOS devices with a Lightning connector, use an Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter or Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter with a USB-C to USB-A cable. Note that USB-C to Lightning cables cannot be used. Power the SP-404MK2 using the AC adaptor or batteries.
For iOS devices with a USB-C connector, connect directly to the SP-404MK2 using a USB-C cable. The SP-404MK2 can be powered from the iOS device in this case.
