SP-404MK2: How do I set the panning for a sample?

The SP-404MK2 allows you to set panning in two ways: during sampling and during playback.

During sampling

On the "RECORD SETTING" screen, hold down the [SHIFT] button and turn the [CTRL 3] knob to adjust the pan position. Value: L:50–R:50

During playback

You can also edit the playback panning from the "Balance" parameter in the "Info" tab of the SP-404MK2 App.

1. Press the [PITCH/SPEED] button.
   The "PITCH/SPEED" edit screen appears.
2. Press pads [1]–[16] to select the sample to edit.
3. Hold down the [SHIFT] button and turn the [CTRL 3] knob to adjust the pan position.
   Value: MONO (Left), L:50–R:50, MONO (Right)
4. Press the [EXIT] button.
   The settings are automatically saved.
