SP-404MK2: How do I make a sample fade in or fade out?

The SP-404MK2 allows you to edit the envelope for each sample to add fade-in and fade-out effects.

Follow the steps below:

Note: You can also configure these settings using the "AHR" tab in the SP-404MK2 App.

1. Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the [PITCH/SPEED] button.
   The "ENVELOPE" edit screen appears.
2. Press pads [1]–[16] to select the sample you want to edit.

3. Use the [CTRL 1]–[CTRL 3] knobs to set the fade-in and fade-out.

   Controller	Parameter	Value
   [CTRL 1] knob	ATTACK	0–127 (0–3 [sec.])
   [CTRL 2] knob	HOLD	1–100 (%)
   [CTRL 3] knob	RELEASE	0–127 (0–3 [sec.])

   The larger the ATTACK value, the longer the fade-in time. The larger the RELEASE value, the longer the fade-out time.
