JD-08: The motions I recorded with the controllers into the patterns are not being applied to the playback sound.

With the sequencer of the JD-08, you can record the motions (MOTION) of the controllers to a pattern, but you can’t record or play them back if control change (CC) messages are set to “OFF.”

Follow the steps below.

1. Hold down the EDIT [COMMON] button and the [EFFECTS] button at the same time.
   The unit enters sequencer mode.
2. Press the [COMMON] button.
   The sequencer menu appears.
3. Turn the [VALUE] knob to select “CC.”
4. Turn the [VALUE] knob to select “On.”
5. When you are finished making the settings, press the [EXIT] button.
