The SP-404MK2 App can be downloaded via Roland Cloud Manager. For system requirements, click here.
Note: Roland Cloud Manager is used for downloading the SP-404MKII App and Sample Packs. It does not run in the background while using the SP-404MKII App.
Perform the steps below.
If Roland Cloud Manager is already installed on your computer, start with step 3.
If the installation stays in the "Queued" state without progressing, your current version may be outdated (earlier than v3.1.2). In that case, uninstall your current version and reinstall the latest version.
- Click "Download" on the SP-404MKII App product information page.
The Roland Cloud Manager installer will be downloaded. - Install Roland Cloud Manager the on-screen instructions.
If you see the message "The app you're trying to install isn't a Microsoft-verified app," click "Install anyway". - Launch Roland Cloud Manager.
- Click "Sign in to Roland Cloud".
If you have already signed in, the normal screen appears.
If you do not have a Roland account, click "Sign up" and create an account, then proceed to step 5.
If the following screen appears, select "Roland". - Launch the app and click "Hardware Instruments" > "AIRA & DANCE" > "SP-404MKII".

- Find the app.
- Windows: Click the Windows Start button > Roland folder > SP-404MKII
- Mac: Use Spotlight to search for the app, or find it in the Applications folder.
