You can download the TR-EDITOR from the Roland Cloud Manager app.

Follow the steps below.
- Launch the Roland Cloud Manager app.
A sign-in is required; if you do not have a Roland account, click on [Join Roland Cloud].
You can change the app's language. See the related Q&A "Roland Cloud: How to Change the Language in Roland Cloud Manager" for more information. - Click Hardware Instruments > AIRA & DANCE > TR-8S (or TR-6S).
Note: If AIRA & DANCE is not displayed, try turning off the View Filter at the top of the screen (toggle the switch to the left). - Click the download icon
of TR-EDITOR.
- Installation automatically starts. - Connect the TR-8S/6S to your computer using a USB cable that supports data transfer.
- Connect it after installing the USB driver.

Launch the TR Editor.
Applications > Roland folder > TR EditorIt is convenient to search for “TR Editor” using the search bar. For details, refer to the following:
- Windows: Find all your apps and programs (Microsoft)
- macOS: View and open apps on Mac (Apple)Click the DEVICE SELECT button.
- Select either TR-8S or TR-6S to connect.
- If the version of your connected device is incompatible, a message prompting you to update the device is shown. The latest system program can be found on the page mentioned in step 4.
