To synchronize the tempo of the Roland TR-6S with a DAW (USB port) or an external MIDI device (MIDI IN connector), select the MIDI clock source with “SYNC/TEMPO: TempoSync.”
- Press the [UTILITY] button to make it light.
The setting screen appears. - Use the [VALUE] knob to select “SYNC/TEMPO: TempoSync,” and press the [VALUE] knob.
- Use the [VALUE] knob to select the value, and press the [VALUE] knob.
- AUTO: Synchronizes automatically to MIDI clock from the MIDI IN connector or the USB port. If MIDI clock is input from both, the USB port takes priority.
- MIDI: Synchronizes to MIDI clock from the MIDI IN connector.
- USB: Synchronizes to MIDI clock from the USB port.
- INT: Uses the tempo of the TR-6S. Select this if you do not want to synchronize with an external device.
- Press the [UTILITY] button to exit the UTILITY screen.
- To save the setting, hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the [EXIT] button, select “System,” and then select “OK.”
