To use the SP-404MKII App as an Audio Units (AU) plug-in for Logic Pro on a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1/M2, etc.), Rosetta 2 must be installed. See "Using Intel-based apps on a Mac with Apple silicon" for installation instructions.
Once Rosetta 2 is installed, follow these steps to start Logic Pro in Rosetta mode:
- Quit Logic Pro.
- Open Finder, go to the Applications folder, and right-click the Logic Pro icon.
- Choose "Get Info" from the menu.
- Check "Open using Rosetta," then close the info window.
- Restart Logic Pro.
